Motion Graphics Artist – Emeryville

Splitvision Digital needs a few good freelance 1099 After Effects motion graphic artists! Please read this entire post before responding, you don't want people assuming you lack attention to detail, right?


Here's what we're looking for in an After Effects artist:

- MUST BE LOCATED IN THE SF BAY AREA or be willing/able to travel and stay here without additional reimbursement.
- At least 2 years of professional (for pay) experience doing motion graphics work
- Demo reel (online reel highly preferred) demonstrating marketing and branding driven corporate or broadcast work. Sorry, but no reel = no job
- Motion graphics MUST be your primary skill and focus. We need solid AE pros, not editors who do titles now and then
- Ability to work reasonably quickly and accurately. We're not slave drivers, but we're not slackers either


Here's what we're NOT looking for:

- Far-flung Generalists. Photoshop, Illustrator and 3D skills are a plus, but we don't typically use shooters/editors/web designers who also know AE
- People without reels. You're an artist, PROVE it.
- Prima donnas. We're all artists here, no need for the ego/attitude.


We pay industry standard rates DOE ($30-$70/hr), offer a young, fun environment and challenging high level projects for some of the biggest/coolest companies out there. In return, we expect professionalism, attention to detail and drive.
